![]() You can always buy a case if you really want one, since it is an expensive tool. That is something I really wish they would include. But again, Hypervolt does not provide a case for the actual massage gun. The attachment heads also come in a pouch that is included. Just as they are with the Plus, the 2 Pro attachment heads are easy to pop in and out and they stay very secure. This roundedness makes it just a little softer. But the flat head is a little more rounded than the Plus. The fork, bullet, and cushion heads are pretty much identical to the Plus. Like all Hypervolt models, the 2 Pro includes five different attachment heads. I can see this being a very useful feature, especially for physical and massage therapists. This is a useful feature if you are using the Hypervolt on someone else, because obviously it’s harder to tell how much pressure you are applying. The 2 Pro dial also has a pressure gauge that gives you a visual of one, two, or three lights based on how much pressure you are applying. I also think the dial on the 2 Pro is a lot nicer than the previous Plus button. I really prefer the lower settings a lot more when I am warming up a particular area before a workout. However, I have found the lower settings to be really useful, especially on more sensitive areas. I just have not found a lot of practical value in the highest setting on the Plus. After using both for quite a bit, though, I think this makes a lot of sense. Levels 1, 2, and 3 are all lower than the previous lowest setting on the Plus. The 2 Pro offers a lot more choices in the opposite direction. It is interesting to note that the highest setting, Level 5 on the new 2 Pro, is actually lower than Level 2 on the previous Plus. Now with the new Hypervolt 2 Pro, there are five different settings: Previously, with the Hypervolt Plus, there were three different settings: What’s different here is how fine-tuned you can get that 90-volt motor to work for you. But these are still 30 watts more powerful than the regular Hypervolt 2. The Hypervolt 2 Pro includes a 90-volt motor, which the Plus had as well. The extended battery life is probably only true because there are lower power settings on the 2 Pro. They say it is actually more like three hours versus 2.5 hours. The battery life on the 2 Pro is around the same as the Plus. The 2 Pro also has a new spot for the release of the battery handle, and I found it a lot easier to remove than the Plus. I like it because it makes it easier to throw it in my bag if I need to take it somewhere. This is obviously great, again, if you are someone who uses these all day long, and you need to swap out the battery pack. ![]() One of the things that sets the Hypervolt Plus or Pro 2 apart from the non-Pro models is that the handle, which holds the battery, actually comes off. Hypervolt 2 Pro on the left, the previous Hypervolt Plus on the right. ![]() It also helps that the new 2 Pro is 0.4 lbs lighter than the previous model, which makes it 2.6 lbs instead of 3 lbs. The handle also has indented lines in the rubber that add to the comfort of holding onto it. This makes a big difference if you are someone who works with a massage gun a lot as part of your profession. It’s just much more comfortable to hold and use. The pill-shaped handle is actually one of my favorite changes to the Hypervolt 2 Pro. Personally, I think all of these changes make the 2 Pro look a lot more professional, modern, and refined. But the most obvious visual difference is the entire handle is now more pill-shaped, rather than the more circular handle that the Plus had previously. The light ring at the bottom is now larger and brighter, and it now has a silver end-cap beneath it. It also now says Hyperice on the side instead of Hypervolt Plus and they ditched the Bluetooth logo. The attachment head holder has been changed to one that looks a bit more smooth and less plastic-looking. The 2 Pro is a little bit taller and a tiny bit longer. ![]() The Hypervolt 2 Pro and the Plus still look very similar, but they do have some visual differences. ![]()
